The challenge

Alternative Character is a content-strategy studio working across verbal branding, UX writing, content governance and content operations, with teams in Dubai and Beirut. They had the expertise and a sharp point of view, but nothing to hold it — no clear way to explain the four things they do, or to let prospective clients start a conversation.

Design approach

Editorial, typographic, purpose-led.

For a studio that writes for a living, we let the words lead. Oversized editorial type, a restrained black-and-white palette with a single teal accent, and a playful script motif carry the brand's voice. Each service follows a clear 'what it is / why it matters' rhythm, and a running theatre-mask graphic ties the identity together across every page.
